A retirement village in Malvern celebrated its tenth anniversary earlier this month.

Clarence Park Village – which is located at the foot of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire – honoured the occasion with residents, their family and friends as well as local community partners and businesses.

The event welcomed two choirs - Malvern Community Choir and I-Sing Choir - a group of enthusiastic Morris dancers, a host of garden games as well as a display charting the village’s successes and memorable occasions over the last decade.

During the day, almost £100 was raised for the Guide Dogs charity, topped up for a further £50 donation.

Sarah Sutton, Director of New Customers and Specialist Housing at Platform Housing Group said: “We had such a wonderful day celebrating the 10 years since Clarence Park opened its doors.  It was so lovely to get everyone together and see how the community has grown and developed over the past decade.  Thanks to all those who worked hard to ensure the day was a success.”

Clarence Park Village has 101 apartments with a host of facilities including disabled access, a cafe and bistro, a bar with lounge and games area, a library and an IT suite, a craft and hobby room, a health and wellbeing room, a gym as well as a hairdressers and beauty salon.
