Applicants must be aged 60+ or 55+ if in receipt of PIP/DLA and preference will be given to applicants with an assessed two-bed need.

One month’s rent in advance is required in advance on the tenancy start day of between £630.61-640.96 dependent on property allocated (our preferred ongoing method of payment is Direct Debit). Housing Benefit and Universal Credit is accepted.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form.

You will be offered a starter tenancy and if there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.

Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.  

If you are a current Private Tenant, Council Tenant or a Housing Association Tenant / (Platform Housing Group Tenant) you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. You will only need to give Notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.
