We have a one-bedroom second floor apartment within our retirement village at Eign Brook Court, The Rose Garden. Situated within the heart of Hereford and located within easy distance to local amenities.

We have a one-bedroom apartment available now within this retirement village for people aged 60+ years (or 55+ if in receipt of PIP/DLA), suitable for a single person or couple.

Each apartment has use of the communal facilities.

This self-contained unfurnished home consists of-

You will be required to pay one month’s rent in advance on the tenancy start day £1137.90 including service charges of which £417.08pcm is covered by Housing Benefit or Housing Element of Universal Credit (if you are in receipt of these benefits). Please note that if you are claiming Housing Benefit or Housing Element of Universal Credit there are some service charges that would not be covered. These include a £142.33pcm for utilities, and £86.91pcm amenity charge. A lettings Officer can give you a full break breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for Housing Benefits payments.

If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.   

Please be aware Housing Benefit/Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.    

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
