The apartments are suitable for or single people or couples aged 60+ or 55+ if in receipt of PIP/DLA.
Chantry House is an easily accessible scheme from the city centre of Worcester, benefitting locally from a number of amenities including a retail park with supermarkets and DIY/home stores, nearby medical facilities including dentists, pharmacies and GP surgeries, as well as plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. Cripplegate Park is a short distance from Chantry House, where you can enjoy some time outdoors. A short walk from the park is a bridge over the River Severn into the centre of Worcester, where you can enjoy further shopping and leisure facilities.

These include charges £8.87pcm admin charge, £3.60pcm personal alarm charge, and £55.55pcm personal heating charge. A Lettings Officer can give you a full break breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for Housing Benefits payments.
Our preferred ongoing method of payment is via Direct Debit and we accept Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.
Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy. If you are a current private tenant, council tenant or a housing association tenant you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. If you are a current tenant of Platform Housing Group, you will be required to give 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. You will only need to give notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.
If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
