Situated in the Wyre Forest district, far north in Worcestershire, Kidderminster is the large market town and is 20 miles south-west of Birmingham and 12 miles north of Worcester.

Kidderminster is the main retail hub of the district and has a number of shopping centres including the Swan Centre, the Rowland Hill Centre and Weaver’s Wharf, and a retail park, which offers visitors a high quality shopping experience set around the beautifully restored Slingfield Mill. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for a lifetime assured tenancy. 

Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.

If you are a current Private Tenant, Council Tenant or a Housing Association Tenant / (Platform Housing Group Tenant) you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. You will only need to give Notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property.
