"I joined the Customer Voice Panel to bring environmental thinking into decisions and the community. With a new government coming in, I saw opportunities to increase Platform’s environmental ambitions."
With a background in environmental strategy, I bring fresh ideas and a strategic mindset to the Panel. Working alongside other members has been inspiring, seeing their dedication to improving their communities. There are also great learning opportunities to understand how Platform operates, which can be valuable in other areas of work.
The Panel makes a difference by supporting local communities and initiatives like the Community Chest, though it’s still too early to see wider impacts. We are looking for new members with a positive, can-do attitude, empathy, determination, and creativity.
My proudest moment so far has been taking the step to apply and being accepted onto the Panel, as well as attending face-to-face events to meet others and start making a difference.
