We have been shortlisted in a top sustainability award

We have been shortlisted in The Landlord of the Year category in the 2025 Unlock Net Zero Awards.
The awards – which are organised and delivered by Unlock Net Zero – aim to recognise, champion and celebrate positive climate action from both an individual and organisational perspective.
The winners will be unveiled at a ceremony on Tuesday 24 June at Manchester Central Convention Complex alongside the Housing 2025 event.
Lianne Taylor, our Sustainability Director said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for an Unlock Net Zero Award alongside so many other inspiring organisations. It’s an honour to be recognised and we celebrate the efforts of all the finalists working toward a Net Zero future.”
Our award entry focused on our commitment and delivery within the Net Zero agenda. It highlighted the work in accelerating the Net Zero carbon transition across our assets and supply chain and in creating and maintaining low carbon homes and places that benefit local communities.
Examples of our positive approach include:
As of 2024, we stopped the use of fossil fuel heating on new homes;
All new homes have a minimum energy rating of EPC B;
We currently has 44 electric vans in operation;
In 2024, our colleagues donated more than 700 hours of their time to community projects such as litter picking, bike repairs, community gardens and rewilding.
Lianne concluded: “Being shortlisted in these awards not only acknowledges our firm commitment to deliver on our sustainability targets, it also provides us with inspiration to continue on our sustainability journey.”
