Handover of new retirement village in Hereford

In partnership with house builders Vistry Group, we have delivered 80 one and two bedroom apartments in a new retirement village in Hereford.
The apartments will be dementia friendly and include innovative technology such as smart thermostats that enable monitored use for the efficient use of heating and lighting, saving residents monthly costs on running their homes, as well digital alarm systems providing video intercom, facial recognition, video calls between apartments and assistance alarms.
Work began on the £20million development in April 2022 and will offer the local community use of it’s facilities including a village hall, shop, salon and cafe. Alongside The Rose Garden, the development represents a huge achievement for the Midland’s based landlord as it continues to build homes across the region.
All of the apartments are available for rent.
Elizabeth Froude, our Chief Executive Officer said: “We are delighted with this development and I would like to thank all those who have been involved; it demonstrates partnership working at its very best. For our future customers it really will be all about place, creating a fantastic community in a dementia friendly setting. We’re proud to stand alongside our partners and remain committed to delivering new homes for the people of Hereford and the surrounding area.”
