One bedroom apartments are suitable for a single person or couples. With two bedroom apartments preference will be given to those assessed as having a two bed need.
You will be required to pay one month’s rent/service charges between £606.79-£665.71 (dependent on size of property), in advance on the tenancy start day.
If you are eligible and intend to claim Housing Benefit or Housing element of Universal Credit, please note for all apartments some service charges would not be covered by these benefits. This includes a £7.79 support charge.
The preferred method of payment ongoing is via Direct Debit and we accept Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.
Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.
If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
