Platform Housing are delighted to offer unfurnished, ground & upper floor studio apartments, set within a Retirement Living Scheme called Creighton House just off Frithville Road in the peaceful village of Sibsey.
Sibsey is situated at the junction of the A16 and B1184 roads, 4 miles north from Boston in the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire. An ideal village location for those that are ready to escape the hustle and embrace countryside living. There is a local shop and pub only a short walk away from the scheme.
Creighton House is a scheme that includes 12 fully self-contained studio apartments. Facilities include the communal gardens, residents lounge, communal laundry room, as well as a communal bathroom. There is non-resident management staff visiting regularly and Careline alarm service.
To be eligible you must be aged 60+ or 55+ if you are in receipt of personal independence payments or disability living allowance.

The self-contained unfurnished studio apartments briefly comprise of:-

One month’s rent in advance is required of between £597.76-£604.24 dependent on apartment (our preferred method of payment is Direct Debit) Housing Benefit and Universal Credit is accepted.
Please note that if you are claiming Housing Benefit or Housing Element of Universal Credit there are some service charges that would not be covered. These include a £61.89pcm for personal heating, and a £9.28pcm admin charge. A Lettings Officer can give you a full breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for Housing Benefits payments. The preferred method of payment ongoing is via Direct Debit and we accept Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.
Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.
If you are a current Private Tenant, Council Tenant or a Housing Association Tenant / (Platform Housing Group Tenant) you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. You will only need to give Notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.
If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
